  2. Changes coming. - MiA expands to weekends with Hena Doba, airing from 7-10am ET starting January 27. Starting Jan. 27: - Elizabeth Vargas Reports and The Hill are switching timeslots. Vargas airs at 5pm ET and Hill at 6pm ET. Weekday MiA is losing an hour, now airing from 6-9am ET, with Markie Martin solo-anchoring. Adrienne Bankert is moving to a special projects role. NN Live with Marni Hughes will air from 9am-noon ET, and NN Now with Nichole Berlie gains an hour, airing from noon-3pm ET.

  5. Pretty much any network that broadcasts the Super Bowl sends out their entire unit (news, sports and entertainment divisions) to the site of the game every year. Sometimes, the whole parent company of the network is involved.

  13. Gray has filed a trademark for the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network. Assuming this is aimed at New Orleans and they’re getting the Pelicans after they end things with Bally. .

  16. GrayONE has started to seep into WOIO’s weather graphics. Looks like they’re next?
  17. Megan Mitchell is hightailing it back to Cincinnati and WLWT after a brief stay at WFAA.
  18. CW will get a new logo next year, dropping “The”.
  19. The KMOV rebrand pretty much says “ANF Jr.”, from the logo, to the graphics, to the set.
  20. Well, I had a feeling that weird half-hour gap at 8:30am wouldn’t last long. The 8am newscast will become an hour-long later this month. So, WCBS will now go head-to-head against WNYW and WPIX from 4:30-10am.
