Unfortunately, the sacrifice that had to be made for NFL Today+ was That Other Pregame Show, which was canned by CBSSN.

CBS is launching a two-hour streaming spinoff of NFL Today known as NFL Today+.

WSB is picking up Drew Barrymore at 10am and moving Kelly Clarkson to 3pm starting Aug. 18th.

WPLG executed their independence better than WANF will. The former at least has the Merv Griffin Fun Hour and Live with Kelly & Mark on their schedule.

WGN is adding a new show at 2pm this fall called Take Two, replacing Dr. Phil. This means WGN will now have nonstop local content from 4am-3pm daily.

As a result of the CPB cuts, Mississippi Public Broadcasting will eliminate all PBS and NPR programming by next July.

Appears the news operation won't be ready in time for launch day. A CBS spokesperson noted that the newsroom, set to launch in September, won’t be operational when WUPA assumes the CBS affiliation from WANF, but declined to share further details on its initial scale.

Let’s not forget WPLG had a 7-9am block on WSFL not too long ago. This is just a return to form after a brief hiatus.
