  4. Pretty much any network that broadcasts the Super Bowl sends out their entire unit (news, sports and entertainment divisions) to the site of the game every year. Sometimes, the whole parent company of the network is involved.

  14. Gray has filed a trademark for the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network. Assuming this is aimed at New Orleans and they’re getting the Pelicans after they end things with Bally. .

  16. Scott Chapin is retiring from voiceover work, for good this time. The end of an era for many Fox affiliates nationwide.
  17. GrayONE has started to seep into WOIO’s weather graphics. Looks like they’re next?
  18. Megan Mitchell is hightailing it back to Cincinnati and WLWT after a brief stay at WFAA.
  19. CW will get a new logo next year, dropping “The”.
  20. The KMOV rebrand pretty much says “ANF Jr.”, from the logo, to the graphics, to the set.
  21. Well, I had a feeling that weird half-hour gap at 8:30am wouldn’t last long. The 8am newscast will become an hour-long later this month. So, WCBS will now go head-to-head against WNYW and WPIX from 4:30-10am.
  22. Another Byron Allen syndicated product is getting run on CBS. Funny You Should Ask, on December 9th.
  23. The half-hour gap between the 8am and 9am newscast is weird. They should just make the 8am a full hour and go nonstop from 4:30-10am between WCBS, WLNY and streaming.
  24. Don’t know when it premiered, but WCBS has added an 8am half-hour streaming newscast. It is also simulcast on WLNY and repeats at 8:30am.
