  16. Half-hour 9pm? On the Fox O&O in market #3? That's awful. Should have kept the hour-long 9pm and slotted CST after at 10pm.
  17. As for WFAA, Nexstar will finally have a true flagship station in their home market of Dallas-Fort Worth. KFAA will probably go to a shell company and KDAF will likely have newscasts restored to that station. Meanwhile in Houston, this likely means the end of the KTRK-produced 9pm newscast and the recently-relaunched H-Town Morning News on KIAH. They'll probably be replaced with a 7-9am extension of KHOU's morning newscast (already on streaming) and a KHOU-produced 9pm newscast.
  18. It’s official.
  19. Goodbye MSNBC…hello MS NOW.

  23. According to Scott Fybush, WFTS is dropping ABC Action News and rebranding to Tampa Bay 28 News effective Monday.
  24. New York Post, but it’s reporting that the Evening News could go back to the traditional single-anchor format.
  25. CBS is building out the news and weather team for WUPA. Additionally, there will be local weather updates during CBS Mornings at launch.
