  1. I wonder when Antenna TV will leave WXMI Fox17 for Nexstar's Wood TV, WOTV or WXSP subchannels. Antenna TV has been on Fox17 subchannel since day 1 a decade ago wonder if it was a for life deal since Tribune owned the Antenna TV before the merger with Nexstar as Nexstar owns all of the Katz diginets that Scripps owns. Once that deal ends with Nexstar all of them goes to WZPX ION the stations that Scripps doesn't want will go to WZPX Scripps does air a couple of the Sinclair diginets Charged on .4 & TBD .5.
  2. I believe that Fox RSN's will not return on Dish until there deal with Sinclair is up for the local TV station and once they agree on a new deal is when RSN's return to Dish just my opinion.
  3. This is second time in 4 years that WXMI Fox17 has gone dark on Dish the last time was in 2016 when Fox17 was a Tribune station yup, Dish is the worse when channels go dark. I saw last year when I was looking at Fox17 website that on top that Fox17 could go dark on Dish in Mid-Aug that was only shown for a day thou I didn't see it the next day which I'm guessing that Dish & Tribune signed an extension with them once the merger with Nexstar went final a month later.
  4. I like the new Scripps package for the legacy TV stations I hope they use that for WXMI Fox17 but that will be a while before they get the Scripps package.
  5. I saw on Wish TV website that Wish TV/WNDY has gone dark on Dish didn't say AT&T/Direct TV maybe they got a deal done I don't know.
  6. Is the evil empire that is AT&T going to say no to Disney the mouse no one says no to the mouse. Charter Spectrum & Disney got a deal done last month with no message from neither side and went into overtime as the deal expired on Aug 2 and deal was reached in mid Aug without the channels going dark. Kinda surprised that Direct TV signed a deal with ACC Network in the spring time knowing they had to get a deal done with Disney in the fall.
  7. I never remember TV stations playing the National Anthem when I was younger on any of the TV stations although I was in bed sleeping. Wonder if it will be trend as Gray has started playing The National Anthem in June and now Nexstar.
  8. Not that AT&T & DirecTV viewers can see the message that Nexstar has running on Wood TV, WOTV & WXSP telling them to bring the TV stations back. Which if the TV stations go dark don't run a scroll 24/7 use the stations website for that. AT&T has message on those channels that are effected saying how Nexstar is wrong.
  9. I see a major fine & scolding as well and no buying TV stations for a couple of years. No way do I see Sinclair going bye bye bye just my opinion. I think the weatherman should have kept it in house and not bash Code Red on air like he did which I think was with local bosses just kept it private. Although Code Red wasn't a right name for it WWMT never used Code Red they use Serve Weather 3 that is there branding for weather forecast since the Freedom days they have used it. I see some hopefuls running for president want the DOJ to deny Sinclair of buying the RSN's which I doubt that will happen which is just pandering is all. Plus DOJ wanted Disney to sell the RSN's because they would own most of the sports rights.
  10. I don't believe cities should do that both Charter Spectrum & Northwest will get a deal done and cities should stay out of it and not take sides which Jackson & Yuma are favoring Northwest which isn't right. Where I lived Kazoo didn't take action against Suckyvision oh I mean Cablevision in 97 when Wood TV was off for a year wasn't until couple days before Super Bowl 32 until an agreement happen. And it wasn't about money it was a dispute about putting Wood TV's weather channel on which is now WXSP.
