  1. CW7:  Seems to still have Couples Court with The Cutlers unless that is the new court show shouldn't Couples Court be leaving syndication 2PM to 2:30PM. Mathis Court 2:30PM to 3PM Mathis going against his old show on WXSP from WB at least the second half, Justice For The People Judge Milian 3PM to 4PM competing with her old show The People's Court on WXSP.

WXMI Fox17: Drew Barrymore moving from 12PM to 11AM to 12PM, We The People Moves from 10AM to 12PM to 1PM as Fox17 is having morning news from 5AM to 10AM, Fox17 Morning Mix moves up an hour from 9AM to 10AM, Scripps News at 1PM to 1:30PM, ICrime 1:30PM to 2PM second run at 1AM to 1:30AM.

48 Hours & Dateline combo from 2PM to 4PM leading into 4PM news, another Scripps News show at 7PM, Person Place Or Thing 1:30AM to 2:30AM. L&O SVU is leaving after a couple of years in late night.

WOTV: Young Shelton double run taking AH 11PM to 12AM slot Sep 16, weekend edition Fast Home Rescue Sun 1PM to 2PM.

WXSP: Fast Home Rescue replacing Black-ish late Sun/early Mon Sep 17/18 12:30AM to 1:30AM. I don't get why Nexstar didn't put Jennifer Hudson on Wood TV or WOTV haven't seen any promos for J Hud on her moving. Nexstar not good with airing any promos truth be told other than Wood TV & WOTV somewhat.

  2. I always liked the Eyewitness brand WZZM in the 80s did the Eyewitness News they got rid of it in the late 90s when Hearst sold it to now TEGNA in 98. May have been 98 when Eyewitness News was dropped I'm not sure on that thou as I don't watch WZZM all that much.

  3. Wood TV: Wow I didn't think Wood TV would have replaced Rachel Ray with Sherri at 2PM rest remains the same.

WWMT: kinda surprised they are keeping a Dr. Phil repeat at 4PM really thought they do a 4PM newscast although the staff is very thin maybe that is the reason they'll keep Dr. Phil why didn't they pick up 48 Hours at 4PM?

WXMI Fox17: Access Hollywood going to air at 7:30PM to 8PM returning in that timeslot after 4 years not in access prime even know TVPassPort has nothing at 7:30PM or 1AM maybe AH repeat at that time.

WXSP: Funny You Should Ask moves to 5AM to 5:30AM along with The Neighborhood at 5:30AM to 6AM was 1AM, American Housewife at 9AM to 9:30AM Mom 9:30AM to 10AM, Court Cam at 11AM to 11:30AM, Equa Justice at 12:30PM to 1PM, Karamo moves from 5AM to 6AM to 4PM to 5PM going head-to-head with a Maury repeat on CW7 LOL.

5PM says Jennifer Hudson looking at Fox17 on TVpassPort also has J Hud at 1PM. Then if Nexstar did get J Hud why didn't they air that at 2PM doesn't make sense at all. Seinfeld second run airs at 11:30PM to 12AM, American Housewife at 12AM to 12:30AM, King Of Queens 12:30AM to 1AM, Mom 1AM to 1:30AM.

WOTV: The Goldbergs return to a full hour 4PM to 5PM, Funny You Should Ask 2AM to 2:30AM moving one of the EPs from sister station WXSP.

  4. Storm coverage should've been on channel 62 and not just channel 50 both should've been wall to wall for the tornados on the east side of the state. Someone should be fired in my opinion. That is a big mistake and epic fail how can anyone take CBS Detroit seriously when they dropped the ball on Thur Night. In West Michigan Wood TV, WXMI Fox17 & WZZM went wall to wall on the tornado in Kent County WWMT didn't cut-in I believe I guess they feel that they be in dead last only watch CBS programming in that area not the news from them. It's like WZZM for Kazoo/BC don't care about them even know they do show us bottom row on their map cut the MI/IN broader counties 20 years ago.

  5. Haley did a good job when I checked it last night I was surprised that Jane was doing anchoring when I checked in couldn't they get Ian, Steve Bender, & Amy to come in and do the coverage? I saw Marissa an hour ago I was kinda surprised to her on air and now Kelly when I flipped it a few minutes ago.

  6. WOTV is going to air People Puzzler 10AM to 11AM on Sep 11, Sherri is moving to afternoons 4PM I'm guessing I can't see it replacing it with Rachel Ray on Wood TV at 2PM in my opinion. I think that The Goldbergs moves to the sister station WXSP in my opinion unless The Goldbergs is leaving syndication.

  7. Yeah, I was surprised that Curtlers Court didn't go to Byron Allen, kinda surprised it was cleared this year as well since it wasn't mentioned early this year like most syndication shows are. Access Hollywood is moving from WOTV to WXMI Fox17 saw a promo for it today. This ends a 19-year run on LIN/Media General/Nexstar for Access Hollywood in West Michigan TV Market.

  8. I think Scripps should've kept that share news agreement with WILX in Lansing for WSYM Fox47 as that is a dog station Journal gave up years ago on news and let the rival do the news for Fox47. I know that Fox47 used their sister station Fox17 weather mets until they hired someone last fall that does it out from Fox17 studio.

  9. I see no photo of Haley I didn't see her on the Fox Weather Website either. Did Fox Weather go home after 9PM when the storms were going through WI, IA, IL that was in the very likely of strong damaging winds a little part of MI was in the very likely as well. Sure enough, WWMT said that the storms would come in at a little after 12AM the storms weakened as they came into Michigan other than back MI/IN border the storms seem to pack a punch every station cut for update other than WWMT. Wood TV was the only one to cut in at 1AM when the storm rolled in on the MI/IN border which those that live in that area watch the South Bend stations.

Why don't they use Kelly live when major storms hit for at least until 12AM unless she was when I checked it was pretape I didn't check in at 10PM hour if she was live or not. 9PM looked taped from Steve & Marissa I didn't see the live tag. I guess Fox Weather thinks that after 9PM there is no serve weather happening or that it has to be a level 4 or greater to be on air. The Weather Channel did mini updates on Fri then went to High Thru Hell repeat or whatever long-form program they air.

  10. I wonder when Mollie is coming back I know she had a baby a couple of months ago. Local On The 8s been acting up with Jim kinda going in and out with an echo along with local bug with the 3 countries when it moves can see everything even with the odd bobbing, when it is national forecast with the major cities they don't seem to have that problem. I wonder if that is with Spectrum's end or if that is on The Weather Channel's end.

  11. I'm guessing if there is an outbreak is when it will be live from 12PM to 3PM M-F and have another OCM. Is Kendall doing anything in the morning show like Weather Command or Mornings with Britta & Jason? I know she was with Ian & with Steve last week filling in for Brigit & Marrisa.

  12. WXSP aired ACC football in the finals years before they went to Fox Sports/Bally Sports in 2019. Also aired The Big10 Football/Men's Basketball from 2004/07 before Big10 Network. Before that WXMI Fox17 aired syndication Big10 Football/Men's Basketball for 9 years 95-04.

I hate to be the cynical one, but I think a screenshot from the M&DP's website can show what this is likely really about. First, I'll note that there's a modal/overlay box on their homepage that says this:

The words "Join the movement" (emphasis mine) link to their "join us" page, which currently includes this:

This is most likely just a publicity stunt to increase donations. We've seen it before. Anyone remember the Parents Television Council? They loved to try make people think network executives were personally adding sex, drugs, foul language, etc. to shows, but in reality the PTC was more interested in raking in the money. This is basically the same thing.

Besides, what's the worst that's going to happen? If absolutely necessary, Fox will sell WTXF to Nexstar or Gray or another company and establish a lengthy affiliation agreement. That's it.

I know of The Parents Television Censorship Council they had to settle with WWE 21 years ago only time the group had to apologize for $3Million. I don't see this going anywhere it's wasting The FCC time with this challenge as this happened on the cable side and not on the local side. It's a stunt by Preston & his group to get $$$ like The PTC and other censorship groups as well. I don't see Fox losing its license as it shouldn't.
