I actually really like the weekday morning team. Not as much as when it was Ken,Lori,Bill and Joe but I really do enjoy the team they have now. Dani and Michelle are great together, I wish somehow they would work Michelle into Mornings at 10, she’d be a great fit for that format.

I believe it’s during the 6am hour. There was also a billboard of it at American Dream stating so.

That would make sense in keeping consistent with the teams. 4/6 David and Liz 5/11 Mike and Sade

It’s been brought up but Rosanna is off this week and once again it’s the evening anchors covering on Good Day NY. It seems that is the trend lately with them, if not then it’s Tina Cervasio, it also seems whoever fills in also does the 9am solo. Tishani Whitlow very rarely fills in 7-9 which I find odd still. I wonder if they’ll get a co anchor for the early shows and have Dan do the full 7-9 or keep it this way. If I remember right when Bianca Peters originally took over they split the shows this way as well, then when Curt came on it was back to the 7-10 full show.

Mike Masco announced he’s is taking over the 7-9am weather slot.

Tina hosted the 9am hour solo one day this week and did great.. I don’t understand them sometimes.. there’s days where 4:30-6 is solo.. then the second anchor (usually Dan) comes in 6-9 and the 9 is solo. Why not just have a reporter do 4:30-7 and then Dan do the whole show with Rosanna.

He’s a meteorologist. If it’s weekend evenings then Mike is probably going to weekday mornings and splitting with Stacy Ann

Pat Calvin (formerly of News12 LI) and recently in other markets has announced he’s joining WPIX. Not sure what time or shows he’ll be working but pictures on Instagram show him at night working with I believe Shirley Chan.

Who usually does the weather at 4:00? Tonight it was Mr.G, I thought it was typically Chris.. I don’t usually watch so I could be wrong.. but I hope Chris is still there.

Who has been anchoring with Vanessa since Craig left? Last night Shirley Chan anchored solo at 10.

Slim chance but it would be cool to see Craig Treadway get picked up.. I still think it should go to Dan Bowens. Just my opinion. Move Dane with Rosanna and put Craig on early

Yeahhh I don’t know about this. The 9am hour is fine but the 7 and 8 spot should go to Dan. I get being a little lighter and laid back in the morning but when something big happens you need a serious face.

Not sure how long it’s been but noticed last night that Jeff Smith was using a green screen (or some sort of chromakey background) as opposed tot the typical virtual set. Not sure if it’s a production type choice or some sort of other issue

Do we possibly think Toni doesn’t want it? I mean yeah helping out when needed, but maybe doesn’t want to work weekends? I wouldn’t blame her. She def deserves it tho!

I agree with everyone saying that DuBois is more of a hard personality, however it’s just funny how when Greg Kelly was leaving Lori was a direct answer as she was leaving WABC now Curt is leaving and DuBois is out at CBS

Not sure what they did at 11 but WABC had Mike Marza in at 5 and 6 with Tanya. I would say Jessica was likely brought in because of Adams dropping out

Toni absolutely deserves it. She’s been doing it so long and is great. But as we’ve seen in the past they seem to pass over some of their in house people

It’s sad to say but 9/11 is a day… the only day.. for a few short hours Americans are one united nation. I was in 3rd grade and will never forget that morning or the days and years that followed. I hope the coverage from our stations do not change anytime soon.

Going through the program guide on optimum and abc7ny.com it seems that WABC is the only station not showing that they are covering 9-11 ceremonies on Thursday. I know they tried this a while back, being the only station to do so and there was quite a bit of backlash. Is this an oversight on the guide or are they actually not covering it?
