  1. One has to think it's to split the workload between KPIX / KCBS, so as not to overwhelm the KCBS staff.
  2. It looks like CBSN is running taped programming right now. Isn't "Red and Blue" with Elaine Quijano usually on at this time?
  3. I'm not going to lie, part of me was hoping they'd adopt the Sixeme Son "oohs and ahhhs" just to watch the world burn.
  4. I noticed that WLUK has been incorporating other elements of the new graphics package into newscasts. I'm surprised how long it's taken them to get the rest of the package implemented, and I'm curious if they drop Aerial when they do.
  5. You were so preoccupied with whether or not you could, you didn't stop to think if you actually should.
  6. Not going to lie. I sat here waiting for images to load before I saw your note.
  7. Knight Rider's slightly unhinged cousin?
  8. I wish HLN would do more non-political news as a contrast to CNN. Or that CNN would stop being so fixated on 24/7 Trump coverage.
  9. This actually won't be terrible in Green Bay. They play again Thursday night on FOX, play again on 10/6 on FOX. After that they're on ESPN*, CBS, NBC, CBS. *Although, WLUK is the home of local Monday Night Football telecasts.
  10. 12NewsNow in Beaumont, TX was forced to evacuate to KHOU 11 in Houston because of flooding from the Tropical Depression. https://www.12newsnow.com/article/news/local/12news-kbmt-station-evacuates-flooding/502-3f302131-4911-46f6-a60e-28367ecfd25e
  11. Jeff Glor is staying with the eyeball network and headed to SATMO. https://www.cbspressexpress.com/cbs-news/shows/cbs-this-morning-saturday/releases/view?id=52806
  12. I'm curious what WGBA and WTMJ would do if "The Now" gets axed. Would they just extend the 6:00 news and keep it under the Live at 6/6:30 moniker, or show a completely different program?
  13. Good point -- the overlap occurs in Wisconsin with WGBA Green Bay and WTMJ Milwaukee too. Cities in between get both.
  14. Could it be something where they're trying to prevent confusion in areas where the markets overlap?
  15. Thank goodness. I don't think Witten added anything of substance to the broadcasts. The favorites to replace him are Kurt Warner and Peyton Manning. https://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nfl/cardinals/2019/03/01/monday-night-football-candidates-kurt-warner-espn-football-analyst/3029659002/
  16. Green Bay's WFRV morning show co-anchor Brittany Falkers has left. She's headed to KGW to be the weekend morning anchor.
