I was just noticing that too. I wonder how long until they start combining newsrooms. In Carterville/Harrisburg/Paducah/Cape Girardeau, WSIL is still operating independently of KFVS and in Evansville, WEVV is still operating independently of WFIE. I don't know how a combined brand might work in S IL/W KY, but Evansville folks may get another awful brand name like Nexstar did with WEHT/WTVW being Eyewitness News (at least they dropped the "WEHT Local" and "Local 7" brands after a while and reverted to ABC25 and CW7). Bracing for something like TRISTATE NEWS NOW or EVANSVILLE NEWS NOW. Or maybe they'll surprise us and just move everything to WFIE (NBC, CBS, and Fox) and make WEVV collection of OTA subchannel networks...

I'd just be for the US having DAB like other countries.

If WBBJ doesn't get some kind of rebrand, I'll be surprised. My bet is something like First Alert 7 or maybe just WBBJ since they have multiple networks.

I believe Everett Lau was still working at WTHI, albeit behind the scenes, rather than doing weather.

I'm watching the 11:00 WRTV show live. This is embarrassing. One story they say WRTV. Another one they say RTV6. Then you see the StormTrack 8 weather on the ticker. The 6 bug with the ABC logo is ridiculously big.

Nexstar has so many errors on chyrons and graphics on our two Nexstar stations. The errors in fonts not matching or missing spaces or punctuation are just embarrassing. Them messing up cities on the map is Allen level failure. When AMB outsourced the weather, they had two of our cities in the wrong state.

I would love it if WEHT / WTVW did ANY kind of graphics update.

Can they flatten their bugs or do a stacked time and temp like KMOV or WAVE? The bottom right having black on white text looks bad. Also, black text over the images looks off too. I feel like every other Gray station that has switched did much better. Hopefully they make some updates.

I watched and it wasn't all weather. Maybe they're just bored and going with whatever.

Paxton, who owns WPSD, would be a good choice for WEVV. WEVV has had poor ownership going back for years. Paxton could save that station from the mess it's become.

WFIE has started using GrayONE elements (fonts, backgrounds) in commercials for anchor changes beginning May 5.
