  1. KNSD has the new bug as of today.
  2. I mean...the CSD's work here is very childish, like a lot of Nexstar stations' in-house work. New watchers (important for the marketers) will not be captivated if your graphics are garbage. Nexstar, please hire CSDs that know today's design languages.
  3. I'm still not convinced that WDKY had a reason (besides network affiliation) to not use the KOIN package. As for the logo, it's basically a coloured version of the generic Tegna Fox affiliate logos.
  4. As for WDKY, the rebrand took place as scheduled. New Nexstar website as well. IMO, the new logo reminds me of KGO-TV. I'm not aware of any airchecks yet, so I don't know if the ticker was removed (Good for them if they did!).
  5. At least they tried to do something different, but please no sensationalism, gossip, rumours or bias.
  6. Look N is not being syndicated. It's decommisioned.
  7. I was suggesting this as it could be presented as a high-quality E/I programme to rival the garbage that is Today 3rd Hour on WXIA, and a nice change of pace from yet another newscast.
  8. WNBC and WRC-TV do not have it yet. As a matter of fact, WRC-TV still has Look N monitors from their at-home "studios".
  9. That's good news for sure, but I was expecting a locally produced entertainment programme to fill this slot.
  10. Might I suggest WDAY? Though their website is garbage, and they haven't exactly landed on the best network affiliation (it's ABC but you could do a lot worse), their on-air product seems fine, and being locally owned might help.
  11. That's not on Gray or CBS, but rather the station's fault for still having that promo in their systems when they were supposed to delete it long ago. KVLY is an NBC affiliate. Perhaps you were talking about KXJB-LD?
  12. And I may have spoke too soon. AVSForum users report that the WUAB simulcast on WTCL is indeed in 480i. So 2 HD's and 2 SD's, not the limit. Sorry about that.
  13. Run that in °C, and now you can have the same hourly temperatures for 10 months! Anyways, to keep this thread on topic, Gray Television's WTVG (a former O&O no less) has switched, but only the bug has the new logo. The opens have not been modified yet unlike KOTA (who also has the new logo).
  14. A necessary bump to this thread: People on AVSForum are reporting that both 5.1 and 11.1 on KTLA's signal now looks terrible, to the extent that one viewer complained on Twitter. In addition, 5.1 has been downgraded to 720p. If you're in the LA market and watch Fox/The CW over-the-air, upgrade now.
  15. The Mouse House!
  16. Is it the 2020 (WBTW) updates? If so, then they're set for the music. A ripoff of WCMH's old look, mind you.
  17. 10 days ahead of schedule! But when you're running 3 HD streams, do you need a diginet wasting space?
  18. These chain owners are more concerned about the ownership cap rather than signal quality. In fact, the worse reception, the better, since that means more retrans money with cable, and in smaller markets, there will be less outrage.
  19. Eww, Helvetica+crappy 3D glass effects? This is a choice, and a large portion of Gray stations..actually chose it? Gray stations, please invest and either get a quality art department or go out of house.
  20. I saw this on Syncbak’s VUit. On air, WFIE is still on the Raycom look, and they have reverted back to the old weather graphics.
  21. That’s…..surreal. A slight upgrade for KPIX, but a massive upgrade for CBS Local itself. WDJT and other affiliates may now be convinced to pick it up.
  22. Wow, that's the most Silicon Valley-esque newscast pitch, I've ever watched, ever. Though I do think the KOIN package would have been a better fit.
  23. Let me guess...The Great Reshuffle?
  24. Could this be rolled out to the affiliates as well?
