  1. Are there any renovations being done at 57? (It's probably for CBS Mornings, which, like GMA, is also leaving Times Square)
The CBS Morning News was in a different setting today.

  2. I noticed these days that Mike Marza never fills in for Bill Ritter when he's not at 5pm and 6pm. Is there any logical reason for this?
(not that I mind, of course, I'm just curious)

Yesterday Sandra was there for Bill at 5pm, today we had David and Sandra at 5pm; Liz did both days at 6pm only.

I thought that because Mike was Bill's soon-to-be replacement, he would be his immediate replacement on his time off.

I’m just seeing the 10am soft set for the first time, this is such a remarkable improvement and sharp look for WABC.

Gives me hope that the GMA set won’t be so bad.

With a few adjustments, the newscast it could all be from this space.

I liked it when I used the set like this when it first came out, differentiating from others newscasts.

  4. Another "problem" for WCBS management to solve. The rotation of meteorologists at night, Maurice's replacement at 5pm and a possible departure of Mary Calvi from the morning shift.

Although, I think Cindy Hsu will likely take over the morning news.

Deborah leaving Inside Edition felt imminent. Mary Calvi is hosting most of the times I happen to catch the show.

If Mary Calvi is chosen to replace Deborah, will she be able to balance it with her work at WCBS?

A maioria dos relatórios indica que ele será usado para esportes e clima, incluindo um show especial de torneio da NCCA. Aqui está o press release real da Parmount:

The video below suggests that it will also be in the news. Well, the old studio no longer exists.

Nooooooooo! He’s so unwatchable. Ugh. Philip Palmer would’ve been the better choice, he’s already there from 11-12.

And it looks like Tony Cabrera will be replacing him on weekend mornings. (And the 6am hour on weekdays, while Leslie Sykes is away.)

Kirstin Cole is stepping away from weekends anchoring and going back to weekday AM reporting. Wonder who the replacement will be

When is your last day on the weekends?

I thought there was talk a while back of CBS 2 moving to solo anchored broadcasts outside of the morning to save money?

If not, Dick Brennan is a solid choice. He’s very personable.

What is in question is the 5pm time slot. According to what was announced a while ago, CBS wants a solo anchor at 6pm and 11pm.

I think the Jessica-Kristine duo is interesting, a female duo (only FOX5 has it).

  10. While there is no word on who will replace Maurice, it looks like the 5pm replacement slot is as follows:
    Monday - Wednesday: Jessica Moore.
    Thursday - Friday: Dick Brennan.

I haven't been watching the 11pm news. Kristine has been anchoring alone?
