With a few adjustments, the newscast it could all be from this space. I liked it when I used the set like this when it first came out, differentiating from others newscasts.

Another "problem" for WCBS management to solve. The rotation of meteorologists at night, Maurice's replacement at 5pm and a possible departure of Mary Calvi from the morning shift. Although, I think Cindy Hsu will likely take over the morning news.

If Mary Calvi is chosen to replace Deborah, will she be able to balance it with her work at WCBS?

KCBS 2/KCAL 9 - CBS Los Angeles News Thread
TheNewsTV replied to Roadrunner's topic in Los Angeles News
What's the anchor lineup like in the 8/9/10 pm slot on KCAL? Did Juan Alvarez get Chauncy Glover's schedule? -
They could go back to Studio 57. CBS News 24/7 has been embracing VR/AR studios anyway..
-
The video below suggests that it will also be in the news. Well, the old studio no longer exists.

This morning, Janice Yu said that she was replacing Pedro Rivera. So nothing has been made official yet, as people were assuming.

ABC had technical issues during a special report. And this was leaked, could it be the new ABC WNT studio? https://youtu.be/nwIavGXTjpo

Sade back at 5pm today. Now that the new studio has opened, is there any prediction of Bill Ritter's work reduction?
-
And it looks like Tony Cabrera will be replacing him on weekend mornings. (And the 6am hour on weekdays, while Leslie Sykes is away.)
-
When did Michael Brownlee leave the 11am news? I only see him doing the 4pm and 5pm news. Did Robert Kovacik leave?
-
When is your last day on the weekends?
-
What is in question is the 5pm time slot. According to what was announced a while ago, CBS wants a solo anchor at 6pm and 11pm. I think the Jessica-Kristine duo is interesting, a female duo (only FOX5 has it).
-
While there is no word on who will replace Maurice, it looks like the 5pm replacement slot is as follows: Monday - Wednesday: Jessica Moore. Thursday - Friday: Dick Brennan. I haven't been watching the 11pm news. Kristine has been anchoring alone?
-
From what little I've seen, Plus seems to be the more traditional format. (It had headlines at the beginning)
-
Well, the new graphics package debuted over the weekend, who knows, maybe the studio's will too.
-
-
Apparently, it looks like the CBS Special Reports will be done by CBS News 24/7 correspondents and not Maurice and John. Maybe Kristine will do these late ones since there probably won't be any anchors there after the Daily Report ends. Of course, it's just my guess, let's see what the next ones will be like.

CBS has Tony Dokoupil on the ground (so much so that he anchored Mornings and Special Report today). I believe that he will be the one to go live from there, since the focus is on field coverage led by correspondents. (Maybe with Margareth?)

Does the streaming version of the CBS Evening News also debut today? https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/cbs-evening-news-plus-streaming-john-dickerson-1236234985/

Will they do a farewell to Maurice at WCBS?
