  1. With this move by KNTV, I believe that the other NBC O&O stations will do the same by ending syndicated programs and replacing them with NBC News Now programs or expanding local news coverage. https://variety.com/2026/tv/news/hallie-jackson-nbc-news-san-francisco-streaming-1236761163/
  2. Well, so far, there's a rotation of presenters at noon (similar to the 4 PM slot), and Natasha is alone at 6 PM. If they haven't yet decided on a permanent host for Good Day NY, I believe it will take them a while (if they ever replace her) to hire someone to replace Bianca Peters.
  3. The 4pm newscast is usually presented by two anchors, either Adam or Gilma filling in.
  4. Brazil TV Globo today debuted a new studio for its national morning news program, "Bom Dia Brasil." The studio now features a large screen and virtual projections displaying images from the newsroom.
  5. https://archive.is/qZWf3
  6. Mike Marza never fills in for Bill Ritter on the 6pm newscast when he's away; it's usually David Novarro. I believe that when Bill retires, David Novarro will take over the 6pm slot.
  7. I've noticed that during the week, generally when someone from the main trio is off, they're no longer being replaced. From Monday to Thursday, only Robin and George were at the desk. Could this be a test for the show to be anchored by a duo? (On Friday, it's a trio, I believe because the weekend team takes over.)
  8. Tina Cervasio was on the show today from 6an to 9am and said she was filling in for Dan Bowens. I think they officially announced Dan Bowens' promotion on Good Day NY.
  9. Another change in the CBS Evening News setting. They've stopped using the newsroom as a backdrop for the news broadcast. The close-up shots don't reveal much of the new graphics on the Studio 47 screen.
  10. She's been here before. This week we had Natasha Verma on GDNY.
  11. She was alone during the block from 4am to 7am. Perhaps they'll add Kirstin Cole to anchor alongside her in the coming days (she's been alternating with John Muller since Craig was fired). With John's dismissal, we can say that the weekend morning show is over, right? I'm curious to see how the schedule will be divided for tonight's performance, since only Kendis Gibson and Shirley Chan are left.
  12. Norah O’Donnell to host ‘CBS Mornings’ next week — sparking chatter of a possible return after long hiatus: sources https://nypost.com/2026/02/17/media/norah-odonnell-to-host-cbs-mornings-next-week-sparking-chatter-of-a-possible-return/
  13. I believe they'll appoint John Muller and cancel the weekend morning edition. They've been shortening its duration for a few months now...
  14. And today, the new graphics for CBS Weekend News debuted.
  15. Will Jobina Fortson-Evans be the morning show host? And who will do the evening news?
  16. It would be cool if they used it as a set for some news broadcasts. (I don't like the VR studio)
  17. And then came the new NBC5 studio.
  18. CBS Evening News with Vladimir Duthiers
  19. No graphic changes to CBS Weekend News, which has retained the same design as the DuBois-Dickerson era, at least for now.
  20. Earlier he was in the Telemundo newsroom for the Special Report.
  21. Yesterday there was a special edition of Good Day NY. Do they plan to have a similar edition in the future? FOX5 is the only channel without a morning news program on weekends.
  22. Has it been decided who will replace him in the morning and at midday?
  23. Today was Tony's last day on CBS Mornings.
  24. I also noticed that the anchors at 4 PM and 5 PM no longer appear at the end of the newscast to close and announce the next newscast; now they go straight to the opening of the following newscast.
  25. Is it already known who will host CBS Saturday Morning and what format it will have? Dana and Michelle said goodbye last Saturday.
