No no no my 8 babies ABC O&Os are my best station group New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philly, Houston, San Fran, Raleigh-Durham are in the top 25, with Fresno in the 50s. Don't give them up a perfect combo they're a diverse group of DMA's. BOTH are all of them are legacies.

Agreed that the WWOR example definitely needs to be taken seriously, but if you're going to go after a license renewal, go with a station that's questionable like KTSP (Kari Lake), WJBK (the most low-effort news division out of all of FTS's stations), or WTVT (their past chicanery). WTXF actually has local programming beyond news and I don't forsee the challenge winning because of their programming, and mainly because WTXF's news division is okay at best and most viewers in the market (outside the Eagles) are entrenched with either 6ABC (which has a strong 10pm on WPHL) or WCAU, with the outliers sticking with KYW.

 

Also it's 2023...just throwing up random examples isn't going to work in a day when newscasts are cataloged and timestamped in full online, and in multiple places, like YouTube and Fox's own sites. We're no longer in the days where we have to write Burell's Transcripts and pay $10 for a copy of one. It's easy enough to build your case with actual clips and proper research.

This is all ridiculous, and in a way a violation of the first amendment . No one understands that difference between Fox local and the national. The same could be said for NBC and MSNBC. KSAZ is fine even with the Kari Lake saga, the news on many stations is pretty neutral, KTTV has started going into a more serious news format though I’ve never seen them be as neutral and tough on politics if it was with a republican controlled city though LA will never switched ideologies and it isn’t republican. WJBK along with KRIV has been good at producing other programming FOX literally told stations to do opinion programming Let It Rip in Detroit, the Isiah Factor on KRIV, the Issue is on KTTV, Street Soldiers on WNYW. I’ve seen no misinformation on any stations. Say what you wanna say Fox Stations are pretty neutral this is a bogus nonsense idea. Also FOX News Special Reports are normally anchored by another anchor in a another studio and separate from Fox News. Shoot KTTV during the last 2 Trump Indictments in New York and Miami they have been doing it’s own coverage really because both Trump appearance were in the 1pm and 2pm which it was still in the morning west coast time so in the middle of Good Day LA they would sometimes bring in the join FOX during coverage but they mostly did there own coverage.

Probably the same, I don’t know if they’ll be customizations. But i see pictures Raleigh skyline (which changing a lot so they probably have to update the pictures, the aerial shots a lot for the next few years.) as they currently do with the current opens. Maybe Downtown Raleigh, the NC state bell tower, PNC Arena, Midtown, i don’t see Durham or Chapel Hill, and Fayetteville being included. The Durham studio is getting renovated, 4pm and 5:30pm Amber Rupinta confirmed that on a Facebook live. The skyline has changed a lot.

That ain't bad ABC11 got a flatter look of it's iconic workmark or at least the red and white logo template. Red has Eyewitness the white is News.

WTVD is the same if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, we’ve been #1 in the mornings for over 23 years maybe longer but that becasue the 2 anchors have been there for 22 years, and the fill-ins are regular faces because there reporters.

I mean the 3 anchor format in the mornings KABC does it there always number 1 in the mornings. Mike i can see if they don’t take this idea Mike getting the new role. Though 3 would be good Michelle deserves weekdays I kinda hate how they have to compete for a promotion.

I’m just glad everything is back to normal for now, btw I think the NAACP was backing Soo Kim always disregard them. Standard should just turn over those stations to Tegna. If they didn’t wanna be bought than why did they ask?

You know Telemundo tried that in the 90s dubbing some of Sony Pictures movies and shows in Spanish since that was there owner at the time, and some were there international imports. Because it was cheap, Turned out horribly and it was a big flop. I see the same happening here. 

WADL has a talk News show, don’t know if a full fledged news department would work especially with the recent addition of WWJ CBS News Detroit. But go for it WKBD losing CW they can take the 10pm news legacy.

Yeah but the topic is about Shirleen Alicot it think we should be respectful about his allegation it's might be true. It only takes one person to come out before everyone else does. Camille Edwards was the ND a few years ago who got axes for toxic work environment.
