I spotted it on WAVY's website as well. Man, they are really trying to push this through.

When I saw that this morning, I thought to myself "wow that's new". I like that they're trying something different (sort of). Then again, it depends on the reason. I know weather can be unpredictable at times and you want to stay on top of it as best as you can, and I feel this helps them and possibly viewers with that. Maybe I'm missing something here, but if that's the case, then kudos to KABC for it. Also, it's kind of left me wondering: do you guys see other stations (other ABC O&Os at least) adopting these "Weather Change Alerts" or just KABC?

Given that both graphics are designed by the same agency, I can see it happening here, depending on who uses it.

Wow, I'm loving the talent rejoins. I wasn't really expecting them when they got the new graphics, but they're coming out great.

I'm guessing WTVR will be the next station to get the new graphics, or will it just go in a random order?

I don't know about ironic, but it is bizarre. Maybe they had to spin them off for a while until the timing was right to get them back?

Interesting to see how WNEP will make the switch. Also for 13News Now, looks pretty good so far IMO.

Yeah, it's actually a nice upgrade compared to what they currently have.

I have a question, two actually. Will the merger affect either Spectrum News or Cox Media Group in any way? Despite CMG being owned by Apollo, doesn't Cox Enterprises still own a small part of it?
