  1. This'll be cool.
  2. I don't like this at all
  3. As of right now: The main VOA station is on music loop RFE (some variants) are on ID loop (same with VOA TV stations) VOA English TV is looping a patriotic promo VOA Burmese has been shut down entirely
  4. This afternoon I was notified that the Voice of America and Radio Free Europe stations have been closed down and all the staff working there have been put on leave. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvge4l109r3o This comes about a couple months after Kari Lake was nominated to head the VOA.
  5. This is a much better rebrand for the CBS O&Os compared to what they have currently.
  6. France 2‘s news program, “20 heures” will be extended to a full hour from 9 September. https://www.lemonde.fr/culture/article/2024/09/04/le-jt-de-20-heures-france-2-va-etre-allonge-pour-durer-une-heure_6303950_3246.html
  7. The text is a bit small for my liking.
  8. WHGB-AM1400 (and its two translators) are reverting back to being an affiliate of ESPN Radio. The station was formerly known as Sports Radio Harrisburg and will start simulcasting all national ESPN Radio programming, with the exception of one show. https://radioinsight.com/headlines/277670/espn-radio-returns-to-harrisburg/

      • Haha
  9. So no more broadcasting news in the form of a magazine? Wow. And to think that B+C operated for over 93 years......... that's 93 years of broadcasting news down the drain.
  10. WATE dumping the ABC from their logo is an example of showing that the station wouldn't want to mention their affiliation on air at all. Seems like someone at WATE heard of Gray TV's WVLT dropping their logo and I assume that they wanted to do the same thing.
