WNJU has been broadcasting from Fletcher Ave in Fort Lee since CNBC moved up 9W to Englewood Cliffs.  I think before that they were in a small building in Teterboro

Correct my bad yes Fort Lee, since 2004. There Teterboro building was nice because the sets in that building was a view of the small newsroom they had.

Does anyone know why Telemundo 47 has not moved into the studio?

Today it's being used by MSNBC.

It’s hard moving a station into another building especially across the river into New York you would think this wouldn’t be hard but I agree it’s should be done by now. But NYC traffic probably slows it down. Also WNJU has been in there current Linden, NJ facility for 20 years since 2004. Also the FCC has probably got to approve the move they have to have a presence in their city of license even if newscast are moving to 30 Rock according to guidelines.

KWGN and KPLR can be run through LMA

I don't think Fox would do that. Also KWGN news department could fall if they split with KDVR since they share resources. When Tribune/Nexstarwas happening they're was worry if KWGN got spun off they'd shut down the news department. KDVR (a bit the younger station) has KWGN wrapped around its finger.

John Sterling is 85 and Bob Uecker is 90. Both are still calling games for the Yankees and Brewers, respectively. Age doesn't matter as long as you're capable of doing the job.

No its sexism and in some way racism also keep in mind this happened to Sue over at 4. It sexism cause an older women can’t be on air as long as a man it gives off those mysoynist vibes, and I’m injecting race into it because I haven’t seen this happen to a Caucasian women. All the white females I’ve seen retire have been given fantastic send-offs. You literally mentioned how the took part of the NYSBA video so they didn’t even do an organic goodbye, that shows there in it for money and could care less. I thought it was disingenuous that one of the bosses at WCBS who should remain unnamed was on that NYSBA video saying how great she was and was one of the bosses that probably green lighted her being taken off the desk.

Ken seems like a standard serious anchor, much like Lori Stokes. I don't know if he would fit as a GDNY cohosts but we'll see, Lori did it.

He deserves a National job I think he’s be great for NewsMax as breaking news anchor, Greg Kelly has been successful there.

    They will lose.

Yeah but I think they will give up some stations for WPIX it's the network flagships that like ABC giving up WABC, giving up WPIX who gonna take care of the East Coast Feed. I see them divesting to keep PIX and Detroit though the D isn't that important. But if they lose to the FCC thryll probably divest some stations to keep 11.

The ruling has a direct effect on this deal. Since Nexstar doesn't own any stations in Detroit, the FCC has just ruled that this deal would put Nexstar even more over the ownership cap then it already had been with PIX11.

He gonna fight to keep Detroit and New York because there crucial CW markets.

Yeah.  KABC's current graphics still look great and relatively modern, yet has appeared somewhat outdated in recent years.  Their news set remains my personal favorite among the ABC owned and operated stations, however.

If I'm not mistaken, they are under some type of O&O-wide mandate to switch over to the new graphics package within a certain time frame.  But, given that it is such a large undertaking for it all come to fruition, and, as you mentioned, to have that ultimate look, those may all very well be playing a role with regard to them taking their time with changing over to the new package right now.

I think KABC will have a customized palette scheme they’ll use light blues  shade that they use with current graphics package. It would give off the Southern California, I don’t think dark blue will fit them. I could also see the morning opens having a yellow shade. I’m pretty sure the reason there the last O&O to switchover cause they want the new look to be tailored to SoCal.
