Nexstar is going to divest WTHR, WAVY, KTVD, WUPL, KNWA and WCTX, per the FCC document. https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DA-26-267A1.pdf

The new voiceover on WOOD is not Allen Peck, but is Steve Davis. Nexstar is using talent from SpotVoice as replacements.

It appears that Entravision is rolling out a new look across it's Univision stations. This same look has also debuted on KCEC and KINC in the past few days. Something that is notable is there's no mention of Univision at all.

A new logo for KTUU.. based off of WBTV. It hasn't appeared on-air yet but is shown on their weather stream and a new look for the Alaska's News Source brand. Wouldn't be surprised if they are next in line.

The comment the higher up at NPG said as quoted around the :50 mark is absolutely insane. Would've never expected that from them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSn6WmhE4M8

Tonight, WRIC is extending their 11pm newscast to 12:37am. A small handful of other Nexstar stations are doing the same, like WSYR and KCAU.

Will be very interesting to see what happens with the late night block.

The newer packages from Nexstar within the past 2-3 years are presentation-wise more modern looking than the repetitive CBS/ABC/NBC looks the stations have had for years now. The KOIN package (MOD-1) is OK, not the best IMO but I do like the customization for WFNA and KRCW. I do agree though, some MG packages are definitely better than the old packages Nexstar has.

I'd say the package WKRN debuted last year and the PIX package are both still good from Nexstar.

It is now confirmed that 11 One/Music is behind the new music package for the Scripps look. https://11onemusic.com/post/scripps-rebrand-2025-11-one-music
