Somewhere where people are willing to put up with his attitude and antics.. (maybe LA) that's the only place I can think of.

Steve was always a nice guy, but his demons will always catch up to him... The guy has deep deep issues, and I don't think he can successfully carry out a career in the public eye anymore.... at least not in a big city where all his triggers are so easily available.

I bet it was because of his shitty suits and ugly ties....that is what it has ALWAYS been! They just make up that "psycho anchor" stuff because they don't want to admit that it is ALL about the wardrobe!!!

Actually, he had a pretty long run here in New York. He spent about 7 or 8 years at WABC and almost 2 years at WCBS.
