nynewslover 280 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Watched bits and parts of it..doesn't really seem like its worth anymore of my time.. What is everyone else's opinion?
knightofni 2 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 kinda the same as yours. Not worth my time. When you multply zero by anything, you still get zero.
Action Newsroom 1300 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Maybe it will be a "work in progress" like News4 New York at 5 or Eyewitness News: First at 4. Just wait for today at 5
IceManNYR 240 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 They need to go back to the studio. Having Jodi sitting on a giant chair by a glass desk with an HDTV on the side to start the show is goofy. I doubt people will switch to WPIX at 5pm when there are traditional newscasts in a real studio on other channels.
abric 181 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I saw the last piece of the newscast. You are right IceMan, they do need to go back to the studio. I know they are trying to be a "different" type of newscast, but still, I grew up with Jim and Kaity and watching Jodi is just not doing it for me and I doubt it ever will.
sarahg 0 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Will be hard to pull audience away from established 5 pm newscast. I watch CBS and I'm not going to switch.
TellyGenic 33 Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Apparently, Anderson Cooper isn't the numbers lead-in they were hoping for.... http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/anderson-coopers-talk-show-has-234691
nynewslover 280 Posted September 15, 2011 Author Posted September 15, 2011 they updated the morning set today.. the ugly orange backdrops are gone..and the original blue ones from when the set was first debuted are back up..looks a thousand times better
tvknowledge 5 Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 So far, it hasn't performed well. First, the Anderson Cooper lead in, in this market hasn't even been able to get a 1. PIX news at 5 has been running a .2 to .5 They wanted to play off AC's audience but he doesn't have any; so far, neither do they.
