Jess 1116 Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Saw this on the Brian Williams blog about the massive NBC News renovations. This part I found extremely interesting: We are moving elsewhere during an enormous construction project which, when it's complete, will house the entire NBC News family -- from Nightly News to the Today Show to Dateline to MSNBC to Telemundo to our friends at WNBC-TV here in New York. So... new newsroom at 30 Rock? or is it something more?
NYNews 54 Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Wow, i can't imagine how WNBC will top their already fantastic looking set. It would probably give any station a run for their money.
Guest localcelebrity2u Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 The Today Show is getting a new set? They just got a new set?! I don't think he means a new set...
Vlad 334 Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Yeah, the sets are fine as they are already, they must be getting some renovations done in their work areas like their newsrooms and offices. Although NewsChannel 4 has a nice set they can certainly use a more updated newsroom. So hopefully that'll be the update.
Guest wxman2106 Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 NBC nightly news is the only set getting redone. Brian WIlliams signed off Friday night saying they will broadcast from the NBA on NBC studio and the set will be ready sometime next fall.

abric 181 Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 He must mean the set used for the NFL and NHL programs.
IceManNYR 240 Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Don't forget MSNBC is moving from NJ to 30 Rock. So they are part of the reason for the construction.
