Grimsby/Beutel are probably the finest anchor duo to ever exist. They transcend all other news pairings. So that's my vote: sorry, Chuck and Sue fans.

Nothing beats the power and influence that Beutel and Grimsby had.. They were the pioneers. I'd then put Chuck and Sue second, and then Watkins and Tong third.

Definitely Chuck Scarborough and Sue Simmons, although painful to watch the last few years because of all the changes WNBC-TV made. Close second are Chuck and Pat Harper. Harper was a pioneer female news anchor and one of the best.
