ABC really had no other choice than Muir. It's not that they don't have the depth, but they've already lost Tapper and Cuomo and don't want to lose Muir, too. The new team has already taken the publicity photos, but Cuomo's face is still on the show's Facebook page. He's been surprisingly vocal on Twitter over the Nightline time change, but one has to question if there's a better offer out there (outside of local news).
