There are not enough stations in the Tucson market to create another legal duopoly. There are only eight remaining voices with the KGUN/KWBA & KUVE/KFTU duopolies.
Which raises the question, who would own KTTU after the JSA expires?

The same person who owns KTTU now. Unless something changes Ben Tucker will still own the station post JSA.

The only thing ending is the JSA. The other shared service agreements will continue. So, really all that would have to be done is add a sales person and GM on the KTTU payroll.

WXIA is alerting the public that Tomorrow AT&T /Direct TV will lose their services.

As are KUSA, WUSA, WFAA, KHOU, KVUE, and KENS.

Presumably every TEGNA station is warning that their channels will be cut off from AT&T/Direct TV tomorrow.

And the Sander transfers to Tegna has been completed. KGW is reunited with the other "Kings".

Sander.

And KGW be brought back to the King Broadcasting company, the holdings company. Not sure what about the other two though

This is also happening to Dish and U-verse as well. this is also affecting stations by media general and tribune also.

Stations affected in my area: KXTV, KTXL and KRON.

Td Jakes' show has officially been greenlighted as of yesterday

TEGNA now ventures into original programming and syndication... Hmmm...

Makes you wonder if they're taking a page out of Scripps' handbook and dump syndicated shows in favor of "homegrown" shows...

That's what seems like TEGNA is starting to do. There will be more eventually.

I noticed that the former LSB stations still haven't updated their websites. How long is it going to take for their websites to be updated?

However, KBMT and KCEN have that TEGNA-stylized layout at the very top of their websites where it mentions "A Tegna Company." But that's the only thing I've seen so far that these stations have taken away from TEGNA. The rest still comes from the London Broadcasting era.

I meant to ask when are they going to update the websites so that they have the same layout as 9news and 11Alive?

If Al-SA-TX is still hovering around these parts, he might know something since he's down there with the Fox duop in Abeline/San Angelo. Last I heard, they were going to be under Worldnow until at least January 2016.

Also, while I'm here: KREM2 Spokane FINALLY updated their weather graphics to match the rest of their newscast on Sunday. I say finally, because...the station switched to the G3 graphics LAST YEAR...

Now that you mentioned it, did the other 3 King Broadcasting stations update their weather graphics to match the rest of their newscasts like NWCN does?

All of the NWCN stations were on the G3 WX graphics except KREM.

Looks like the L3's are getting a minor tweak now by adding the respective color scheme to the right side.

That's been gradually phased in over the last several months.
And as of this point, I noticed that these are the stations that have the added color scheme on the L3's and I organized the following by order of market size (excluding KMSB and KTTU): 11Alive, KHOU, KPNX, KING, KARE 11, KUSA (obviously since it was the first to have 'em), WKYC, KXTV, KGW, WZZM, WVEC, WFMY, First Coast News (WTLV and WJXX), WHAS, WWL, WGRZ, WBIR, KREM, WLTX, KTVB (basically, all the King stations and presumably NWCN), WMAZ, KXVA, and KIDY.

Any station that wasn't listed are the ones that I noticed whose L3's don't have the added color scheme.

UPDATE: WFAA now has the added color scheme as well

Looks like all of the Tegna stations will use an updated platform on it's website.

(It looks the same as the previous website, but there are many changes on it's "experimental" website. Such as the new interface for media player, updated website hover, etc.)

Take a look at : http://www.kgw.com/

WBIR has the updated platform too: http://www.wbir.com/

And I'm pretty sure that the LSB stations will get that updated layout when they update their sites next month
