KNBC Bought a new toy!

It's called 4+4 Chaser!

From what I've heard WCAU is getting one as well. WVIT was the first one in the group to get the Wrangler named First Alert 1. Incidentally WVIT was the first station to get the F-250 dubbed AT1 (All Terrain One) that KXAS's Texas Thunder Truck was based off of and improved (by adding a marine weather radar among other improvements).

I assume these vehicles are going to be rolled out across the group.

Sorry, looks like a sad matchbox car. As for NBC10 getting it ... that will be comical ... what will be on the car?? Hurricane Schartz Bowtie??? Even though their "Trust the Bowtie" is a most awesome promo.

WCAU already has Stormforce 10, a Chevy Suburban with a ton of weather equipment inside.

Well from what I've heard from the periscope session they do they're getting a Wrangler as well presumably the same one that's being rolled out at WVIT, KNBC and I think KXAS.

A Wrangler can get a lot closer in certain weather/conditions than a Suburban or the F-250's that WVIT and KXAS has. Unless the F-250's have a snow plow mount.
