NEOMatrix 1299
Don't all of you see what's really going on here??? This is just a "warm-up" by the overlords for when the asteroids hit us and wipe us out. "They" will tell us it's another "eclipse" ... They will have us looking at the sun.... Then BAM!!!! The asteroid will hit us in the ass ...and kill us all...blasted back to dino-land. You can bet the NASA live stream will crash...just like it did today. Save those glasses people...save tin foil. You will need them to see the entire truth. ColDayNews 438
Here: WCMH: local coverage with David Mazza, Colleen Marshall, Mike Jackson, Bob Nunnally which originated from COSI, Ohio State University and many other places in the Columbus area. Also dipped into NBC News coverage. Coverage was simulcast on WNCI, their radio partner. WBNS: Local coverage along with CBS News coverage. WSYX: Local coverage and carried the ABC News special. WTTE: simulcasted WSYX's local coverage. When WSYX returned to network coverage, WTTE returned to the Fox SR. If Fox wasn't on the air, they would return to Hot Bench or Paternity Court. WHIO: Cheryl McHenry and James Brown broke into CBS coverage when totality reached Dayton Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/15840-2017-solar-eclipse-coverage/page/4/#findComment-181602 Share on other sites
Mrtraveler01 738
Let's all take a moment and take in this epic open. --Matt NBC has posted their coverage on Youtube so people can rewatch it (like I am). So has ABC: Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/15840-2017-solar-eclipse-coverage/page/4/#findComment-181607 Share on other sites
ToriElectra 292
At least you're not late-80s WTSP and had your whole computer system accessed by your competitor... No, it was WTVT that got broken into- by people at WTSP (including an ex WTVT staffer). Rusty Muck 4378
The way ABC and David Muir paid respect to Frank Reynolds during their coverage (reairing Frank's 1979 promise that ABC would have rolling coverage of the 2017 eclipse) was pure class. Rusty Muck 4378
No, it was WTVT that got broken into- by people at WTSP (including an ex WTVT staffer). My god, it actually happened. And it wasn't just "people" from WTSP - it was the news director and the assistant news director! johnnya2k6 171
Here in Atlanta, while WSB and WGCL stayed with their networks' coverage, WAGA and WXIA had their own at 2:00 pm; Russ Spencer and David Chandley anchored for Fox 5 while 11Alive had Chris Holcomb at Rabun Gap and both spread out their reporters all over including Sanford Stadium at UGA in Athens. Since they literally went all out, I'll have to give the advantage to 11Alive.
