THIS POST WILL BE UPDATED AS NETWORKS ANNOUNCE COVERAGE.

ABC: ABC News will offer live coverage of the solar eclipse, beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT. David Muir will be reporting live from Charleston, S.C., which is in the "path of totality." Correspondents will include The View cohost Sara Haines, Chief Economic Correspondent Rebecca Jarvis, T.J. Holmes, GMA meteorologist Ginger Zee, Matt Gutman, David Kerley, Nick Watt, Adrienne Bankert, and Eva Pilgrim. Coverage will preempt The Chew, and General Hospital on the east coast; The View and local programming will be preempted on the west coast.

NBC: NBC will offer coverage anchored by Lester Holt, Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer in the 1pm/2pm EDT hours, preempting Days of our Lives for some stations and local programming on others.

CBS: Unknown.

FOX: Sister network Fox News Channel will provide coverage that will be simulcast between local Fox stations and Fox News Channel.

TWC: The Weather Channel's coverage will be anchored by Dave Malkoff on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship ... which will include a musical performance by DNCE. TWC will be the ONLY network to use augmented reality for their coverage. Meteorologists Jim Cantore and Stephanie Abrams will be reporting from Madras, Oregon and Carbondale, Illinois.

Looking forward to that live special coverage on TV in addition to seeing it in person from the comfort of my family's house.

has fox confirmed that they are offering a (presumably level 2) special report on the eclipse?

I haven't seen any indication of it. FOX has News Edge live shots scheduled from Idaho Falls with Lauren Blanchard, and that's all I see right now.

The Charleston stations, being in the totality, are going all out. Channel 5 (WCSC) is running four hours of eclipse coverage, Noon-4pm, based from the Charleston RiverDogs baseball stadium, Riley Park, while Channel 4 (WCIV) is preempting ABC's coverage and running their own from the USS Yorktown from Noon-3pm.

The NBC, WCBD, is running a special 30 minute show, and PBS (SCETV) is running special statewide coverage simulcast on radio and TV.

WYFF in the Upstate is running a special hour, and the Columbia stations are also running (at least WIS NBC and WLTX CBS) are doing their own coverage.

St. Louis is on the edge of totality (the southern suburbs are in the dead center of it) and as a result the stations here have been doing various stories about how St. Louis and the towns around it are preparing themselves for the eclipse.

Looking at the guide, the only special programming I see is that KMOV is doing coverage of the eclipse from 12:00pm-2:00 which is when the eclipse is scheduled to occur here.

EDIT: KSDK is also doing special coverage of the eclipse from 12:30-1:30. Still nothing from KTVI/KPLR. KDNL is just going to air ABC's national coverage.

KBEX-TV will be live at the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Lion Country Safari and the Humane Society Animal Shelter....

We will watch animals freak out during the eclipse.

Hosted By Kathy Griffin (impersonator)

WPDE in Myrtle Beach is also plugging their own 3 hour special from Noon-3pm. It appears they might be pre-empting ABC's national coverage also as they mention being at various sites around the area.

How does this impact Monday's days of our lives episode?
