And just noticing the abbreviation for FDS...I (and them) will probably grow tired of the references to this consumer product over the next few weeks. Maybe there will even be a lawsuit! 

 

On Spectrum it has FDDHD & the overflow FDSNX. I'm surprised the upper corner has FanDuel Sports Network should just have the FanDuel logo don't need to put the whole name on the top of the screen in my opinion. I wonder if FanDuel will put a few of their shows will pop up on the RSN.

I just wonder if there the score bug/ overlay will be different for games. We will find out soon St. Louis blues plays tonight

They literally just changed the logo and mic flags going by tonight's Lightning simulcast on NHL Network. That's it. No new graphics, same music.

 

I have secondhand embarrassment for the teams and the broadcast employees who still have to deal with these clowns.

I don’t know that they really needed to go all out with new music and graphics and it’s not as if they had a lot of time.

I’m not sure why some expected a total refresh. Basically Bally’s ended their naming deal and FanDuel stepped in. When (if) Diamond/Sinclair emerges from bankruptcy, FanDuel may invest but won’t be the controlling owner based on what has been disclosed.

Last month, the Cincinnati Reds parted ways with the Diamond Sports Group, and subsequently sold their equity stake in the former Bally Sports Ohio (for $1, no less).  However, today they've made it official that they'll also be another team aligning with MLB Local...

It looks like by the end of the NBA and NHL season, FanDuel's Ohio networks are done for good.  The Cavaliers have the Rock Entertainment & Sports Network as their contingency plan, just as soon as their contract with Diamond expires, but who knows with the Blue Jackets.

So the Brewers moving to MLB distribution? Never mind...they've come to terms with FDSNW for 2025. However, in-market streaming will be available through an Amazon channels subscription, so at least the nightmare of having to use the FanDuel streaming app is now optional.

The Reds just pulled a similar "about-face", as they're returning back to what's now FanDuel Sports Network Ohio at least for 2025.  Included in this arrangement, FanDuel will offer DTC streaming for Reds telecasts, reflecting similar arrangements that they have with other MLB teams on their team roster.
