AJClementeFan69 477 Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 WOIO inspired? With a 24-hour clock?
CircleSeven 1960 Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 That's WFTV's graphic pack. And also, that has to be a first time I've seen a U.S. TV station to use military time for a time/temp bug on the air.

who?cares 255 Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Their newsroom was pretty badly damaged in an earthquake in November. I wonder if the new set came as a result of that? https://www.ktva.com/story/40546613/ktva-staff-returns-to-earthquake-damaged-newsroom
TheRolyPoly 2593 Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Not really folks. They've since fixed that time to the 12-hour clock.

MidwestTV 1245 Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 I never realized they took so much damage during that earthquake.
MichiganNewsGraphicsJunkie 949 Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Amazing look for the Alaskan TV Market...

And, to the best of my knowledge, KTVA is also the first station in Alaska with a time/temp bug for all of their newscasts (not just mornings anymore).
