Tegna’s Little Rock, AR station, THV-11, demolished their current set today. Newscasts are originating from the newsroom.

Not terrible at all. However, why must everyone stand? And why does that weatherman look so casual?

If the stand up monitor array can have bezel-less displays, why can't the desk monitor array?

 Not to mentioned those weathered horizontal wood panels...

 

It’s like HGTV influenced their design decisions... 🤦🏻‍♂️

All we need is gramite countertops on the desk and we have an all-in-one set.

Quite cohesive a like it for a station like then in a market like them really makes KATV look shitty.

I wish that weather center had more elements.  Even a couple more monitors would've been alright.  It just seems...empty.  Also, the anchor desk seems really small and more fitting of a lifestyle show than a CBS-affiliate newscast.  I have a feeling that the set, overall, is going to age fast.
