It seems they have filled gaps in the daily program schedule where FOX KTTW had Infomercial content. A recent person , Uslysses , FOX is on KDLT TV 46.2, not KAUN TV 42.
Ulysses@Sea 0 Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 You are correct, I have fat fingers and slight dyslexia FOX is indeed on 46.2, sorry for the confusion.
Samantha 2906 Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Independent has spoken... Quote “Independent intends to transfer KTTW and its satellite station, KTTM, to a nonprofit entity in the near future,” the company statement said. “Details regarding the transfer will be disclosed in coming weeks.” That screams TCT or Sonlife or another Christian entity, imo. They buy sticks.

CubsFan79 58 Posted November 11, 2020 Author Posted November 11, 2020 So KTTW TV was sold. I am quite surprised that the SF media did not report this until now . I wonder if GRAY TV will add a newscast.. I have not seen a FOX sports schedule yet.

Morphtato 43 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 The station has also announced the move of their 9 PM newscast from the CW to Fox. http://www.northpine.com/blog/2021/01/08/gray-to-move-sioux-falls-9-p-m-newscast-to-new-fox-affiliate/
CircleSeven 1963 Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Okay. Just a couple of new notes. Gray has completed the sale of KTTW's former translators on 2/9. From brokerage firm Kalil & Co., Gray acquired the non-license assets of KTTW for $22M. And just this morning (and to no surprise), Religious broadcaster TCT (Radiant Life Ministries) will acquire full power KTTW/KTTM for $850K.
Megatron81 289 Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 I'm surprised I thought that Nexstar would've bought KTTW I didn't see Gray getting Fox in SF they own that market owning ABC, NBC & Fox while Nexstar owns CBS. I thought that Nexstar would've had Mission taking KTTW.

This would've made more sense, then. But this was way before the KDLT acquisition.

It’s now a Gray VS Nextstar tv market in SIoux Falls and Eastern SD.

It can be anyone vs. anyone in the SF market and KELO will still easily win every time slot. the decades-long ratings slaughter is the only way Gray was able to get KDLT and FOX in the first place. Gray might have the edge over in Rapid City though with KOTA and KEVN...
CircleSeven 1963 Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 A small follow-up. It took 'em about ten months, but the FCC has greenlit the KTTW deal to TCT and granted satellite authority for Huron's KTTM.
