Seems like they been 18 & 48 past the hour. I saw it on Fri was very odd they should keep it on the 8's and not 27 or 53 past the hour in my opinion.

In the overnight hours TWC decided to air KITV's coverage (which is owned by Allen Media) of the Tsunami instead of having their own coverage. At times they did not take commercial breaks and at times coverage would be suddenly interrupted with a commercial. I only watched for a couple hours but was going back and forth between TWC and Fox Weather. Fox Weather actually had good live coverage.

Today in TWC history...

Today marks 20 years since the longest-used logo in the history of The Weather Channel was starting to be used. It has been used ever since and is now one of the most recognizable logos in American broadcasting history.

I wish that local on the 8s were still use after they go to the reality TV shows as they haven't been airing them for the past couple of weeks.

The Weather Channel gone home for the weekend surprised they didn't go wall to wall for weather coverage for Sun like FOX Weather did, which FOX Weather at least doesn't have the gone home sign for the weekends anymore.
