Was it ever announced that Sean and Debora are the official weekend am anchors? WCBSNewsFan 0 Posted August 27, 2007 Share Posted August 27, 2007 I noticed this too... Brendan Keefe was the anchor on Saturday AM, but he was missing today. It seems that Brendan has been doing weekend AMs for the past few weeks or months now, but I don't know if he is permanent. Deborah Garcia has been anchoring steadily for a while (since about March or April), but her co-anchor has changed. It started out as Hennessey (who I think was awful) for a few months, but then Keefe seemed to take over. I don't think Garcia is that good, and Keefe is a better reporter than anchor. Garcia is pretty stiff and doesn't have any chemistry with her co-anchors. The only bright spot on the weekend AMs is Elise Finch. I don't understand why they took Cindy Hsu off and replaced her with Garcia. Cindy is a veteran anchor and should really be anchoring weekdays again. I think it's terrible that they won't even let her anchor weekends. Knowing Dunn and Friend they have their people from Idaho line up for that spot. He is just waiting for them until their contract at their current station is up. YES OH YES LOVE THAT ELISE FINCH.
