I checked the WWTO 35.2 Chicago subchannel with an indoor rabbit ears antenna, an indoor antenna amplifier, and a 12" portable TV today and that subchannel has been a black screen with no sign-off notices. I don't know what happened to Merit Street Network on TV, but I checked their website and tried to view their streaming channel but the streaming channel is down. I tried, but no dice.

On our local TBN station, the subchannel is now a loop of endless infomercials called DealsTV, despite the program information still being all of the Merit TV content.

So I'd assume it's basically done and gone now.

Is DealsTV just an interim name for the feed or is that an actual network by TBN or someone else?  The only network I can find by that name was based in Canada and folded as late as early 2017.

Yup here in Phoenix too on KPAX (TBN) 21.2 subchannel, & there's another infomercial loop subchannel on 21.4 with TBN Inspire sandwiched between them.

TBN is probably the operator of the infomercial loop just so they can either make some extra money on a channel slot, or possibly recoup losses over their investment in Merit.

TBN was bad enough, but they've really hit some new lows as a broadcaster in recent times.  The current climate seems to be perpetuating this and TBN is falling into line spreading the lies as opposed to the "good word" of what they should be preaching as a religious broadcaster.

They've been heading this way since Paul Sr. and Jan met their maker. Moreso since Jan passed on, leaving Matt and Laurie in complete control of their "empire".
