CBS Plans Week-Long Residency In Las Vegas For Super Bowl LVIII

CBS MORNINGS – CBS’ morning news program will broadcast live from location in Las Vegas on Thursday and Friday, delivering original reporting, breaking news, newsmaker interviews and storytelling with cohosts Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson.

CBS SATURDAY MORNING – will be live from Las Vegas, with cohost Dana Jacobson on site.

CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O’DONNELL – CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Norah O’Donnell will broadcast live from Las Vegas.

Pretty much any network that broadcasts the Super Bowl sends out their entire unit (news, sports and entertainment divisions) to the site of the game every year. Sometimes, the whole parent company of the network is involved.

Reading that list makes me think of a world where syndication didn't develop like it did, and instead Drew/ET/Inside were all on CBS like it happens in the rest of the world. Would be pretty cool.
