KIEM new set

KIEM — once upon a time a star of the “Worst Opens of All Time” thread (or something similar) — has a new set. This is the first new set since the 1996 election cycle; the set has only received sporadic updates and paint since then as the bones remained. I am not entirely convinced it is entirely new … but here is what new owner Marquee put up in Eureka.

Oh, I know. It was one of three stations available via antenna during my 1980s and 1990s time there. The sad thing is that every single competitor in the market from the year 1999 forward put out a better product — all are now gone. Thanks Clear Channel, Sinclair, etc.
