Vlad 325
I saw this video on YouTube, its clearly in High Definition with the 16 : 9 widescreen format and all, but my question is why did they stop the HD broadcasts of Nightline? At the time this was when Nightline was taped in the Time Square Studios. Could that perhaps be the reason? Being that only the Time Square Studios are the only studios in which ABC News uses that is HD capable? Jess 1115
It looks like it's a preproduction version of the open and not used on air. I've never seen the announcer do the whole tease (usually it's one of the anchors and he pops in at the end) Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/2351-nightline-previously-in-hd/#findComment-22632 Share on other sites
qunewsguy 377
If you look carefully in the lower left corner you can see the word "nailgun" burned in. Here's the link to nailgun's other work: http://www.nailgun.tv/html/projects.html Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/2351-nightline-previously-in-hd/#findComment-22635 Share on other sites

Here's the link to nailgun's other work: http://www.nailgun.tv/html/projects.html Thanks for the link! I have to say, I personally love the package for 20/20, the whole use of movement and that rotating tech-style item just looks awesome but not over-the-top.
