They were testing HD studio cameras, but they didn't have the proper HD equipment yet. It looks like they tried to imitate the technique used on the movie "Forrest Gump": the characters were incorporated into the movies' footage. The song that identified the show throughout its entire run was "As Time Goes By", performed by Carly Simon. onthesea 292 Posted November 21, 2018 Share Posted November 21, 2018 Beginning today, all of Telefe's O&O stations are eliminating its local names (e.g. Teleocho in Córdoba, Canal 9 in Bahía Blanca or Canal 8 in Tucumán, among others) to adopt Telefe's branding for its entire programming. That means that its local newscasts are now called Telefe Noticias. Here's an example from Córdoba: an excerpt of its midday newscast (1pm) under this new name. Another example: this one is from Santa Fe, where the newscasts have just premiered its HD broadcasts!
