SuitSnob 19
Let the world be warned: Super-Sized Full Windsor Knots are coming to the Peacock Network; how appropriate!!! TellyGenic 33
"When he left Ch. 7, he said he wanted to have a larger platform.." Wasn't that a badly coded way of saying he wanted to anchor, and since he didn't get the weekday morning job was taking his toys and going elsewhere? Maybe he'll end up replacing Gargiulo, who's a real snooze in the a.m. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/4376-jeff-rossen-returns/#findComment-40801 Share on other sites
NewsJunkie247 1
I've always liked Jeff and I am glad that he will be going to NBC. As for Jeff on Today in New York, I read somewhere on TVSpy a few months ago that Channel 4 beat Channel 7 in the mornings during the month of July, so they may not want to make any changes with anchor line ups right now if they are seeing an increase in ratings. Something to keep in mind also, Erika Tarantal anchored the program with Michael Gargiulo for 2 or 3 weeks during July because I remember that Sue took a lot of time off in July and therefore, Erika filled in on TINY for Darlene who was on at night. Vlad 325
Well at least we'll still see him in the New York Market. Jeff really made the news stories he presented very interesting to the viewers. Makes the viewer open up their eyes. He may even boost up the ratings for WNBC which has been struggling to get up there for the past year... SuitSnob 19
Man! You can't even get that knot in frame without HDTV! But no matter how big, Jeff always wears a collar big enough to accomodate it, so we don't have Rob Malcolm Syndrome here. sctvhound 27
Today I saw Jeff Rossen on my local morning newscast in Charleston, and he looked like a pretty good reporter, with his long time in New York.
