Originally that was the case but then they got rid of SkyFOX back in January. StudioTech 15 Posted May 5, 2009 Author Share Posted May 5, 2009 They should just drop the WWOR newscasts. News Corp wanted to do that just like they did it to KCOP out in LA. One problem, though. The license to the station is in NJ. When they wanted to move the station back to NYC a few years ago, there were protests from groups and some politicians about the station not doing enough coverage of NJ and calls for the FCC to revoke the license so Fox backed off. SFTV 526 Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 I heard that NBC canceled the helicopter contracts not only in NYC, but also Miami and San Francisco. This is a shame. I think there was one other time recently that Brenda subbed on FOX5 News. I think there was one other time recently that Brenda subbed on FOX5 News. They did anchor together on WWOR from '97 to 2000. I'm glad to see Dan Rice back at work though. Isn't Dan Rice, Shannon Sohn's husband? I believe he's simply filling in. The only two "staff" chopper reporters are DelGiorno and Sohn.
