The first 90-minute news block from WISH in Indianapolis (with a special introduction explaining the new format), 1989:

That was previously uploaded by Ken back in March of 2014, but without commercials.

A full 30 second version of WOI-TV's Keeping You in Touch jingle (sounds like it came from TM Productions). but with 5TV replaced by Channel 5:

Better yet, the whole newscast is available, in 60fps:

Worth noting — this is a generation of KCRA opens I had not seen. They'd change again in 1996, including an updated music package (the NMSA groups both).

Great find. I think that music package dates to around 1992 - the lower third graphics are also from around then (they borrowed from the early 90s NBC News lower thirds).

Liked how they'd sometimes key the feed from LiveCamera 3 behind the anchors for the two-shot. One thing a little off about that set - the 'CHANNEL 3 REPORTS' lettering above the anchors never matched lettering they used for the masthead on air.

Thailand's channel 7 introduces their news in 1990 with a mish-mash of various American graphics and WXIA's Standard & Tradition theme:

Is this maybe a markets show? Interestingly, the Gaylord-esque map animation has the map configured as it would be in most of Asia... The open itself is a "What were they thinking" mish-mash!

That imaging song sounded so catchy that I uploaded it myself:

Also a WRC weekend open from 1984, featuring Mike Hambrick (who later returned to DC at WJLA) and Scott Clark before his big break finally establishing continuity to WABC’s sports department:

Does anyone have that theme? I'm curious.

BTW as for the title it roughly translates to the channel 7 morning news.

Thanks, dude.

Also... Fort Myers!

And jacky9br is back with some La Crosse, Wisconsin:

There’s also some Shreveport, New Orleans, and Monroe in there, of course.

As Ten appears set to drop "Eyewitness" (for the third time in its history) and adopt the name "10 News First", here is when Ten first became strongly associated with the "First" brand.
