10Viewer 338 Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 The Corinthian stations (KXTV, KHOU) also used "Take A Look". It's almost a given that WVEC used "KXTV 1982 News Theme" until 1984 and "Take A Look" circa 1980. They all had the same type of image.

Bsean 152 Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 I think most people who watched KTLA in the 90's felt the same way too. I didn't really care much for the newscast in the 1980's, seeing as how KABC sucked the competition dry, but Hal and Jan and later Terry and Lynette were the team to watch. I agree, but it's wierd how no one has any clips from the "Flashpoint" era. I think that package is one of my all time favorites.

This was the generation prior to them adding the "San Jose NewsChannel" and "Do you know the way to san jose" music. Open is identical to the 'test' opens eyeontv posted for WDVM that never aired.
