And it was on KXAN, no doubt, though seeing as how Nexstar's headquarters are here in the DFW area (or more specifically, in Irving), it kind of makes sense. Well Mr. Sook, I've got an idea: after the FCC incentive auction, why not bring back the Station Venture Holdings (this time being Station Venture Holdings II, LLC), complete with NBC 5 DFW and NBC 7/39 with NBC having a majority stake on both stations (76% to be exact, while Nexstar will have a 24% stake). This time, it's in exchange for a minority stake in WFLA and KXAN (NBC owning 24%, while Nexstar will own the majority (74%)).

Since they are rebuilding all the existing graphics first and they only started that in the fall I would say be patient grasshopper...

The video shows everything from how much viewers hated the old station, to the transitional countdown clock that ran in place of newscasts, to the new launch of WIAT Daily News... WNTZ would give KALB some competition finally, although ratings would be a challenge since that station absolutely dominates. Likewise, WWTI would give WWNY some competition...being a pseudo-satellite doesn't preclude news operations (look at WKYT and WYMT, for example).
