I wouldn't be shocked if it happens in the future. Either one (or both) of those syndie shows (Steve Harvey & Ellen Degeneres) could end up being on NBC Boston in the Fall of next year. The Ellen deal for the non-NBC-owned stations are due at the end of this season. Should both shows go next year, and if the Barrymore thing sticks (place it on Steve's timeslot between Live & The View), they would've really have to get rid of IE (if it's placed somewhere on the 3pm hour).

A cute little story at the end of KXAS's late newscast. A five year old boy is obsessed with the Texas Thunder Truck that they made him his own out of one of those little battery power cars young kids can drive around in. It has a tornado on the hood, the NBC 5 logo on the sides, lightning bolts throughout and mud on the tires. They plan on making a little satellite to put on back. I say the real Texas Thunder Truck needs to pay the boy a visit.
