  2. If these CBS rumors are legitimate (consider the source), CBS has to have something up their sleeve in terms of luring somebody to the Broadcast Center because there isn't a de facto replacement in the mix. And frankly, I think Pelley has done a solid job and doesn't really need to be replaced.

  3. I think WGCL46 has the right people in place, but they just can't stop being dysfunctional. I did see with Amanda, doing the Morning news somewhat making WXIA a competitive in the AM where both tied in third place. However, there needs to be tough love to Ms. Davis. Meanwhile Meredith isn't a bad company, if WOIO/19 & KTVT/11 could from the gutter to compete with the three big dogs; then WGCL/46 can do the same thing as well too. It just needs to stop with the shit show.

  5. WGN wouldn't use their own mic flags because they don't produce/control the parade. The Chicago Festival Association runs it with WGN/WGN America serving as the TV partner/sponsor only.

  6. I think that CBS prefers having WGCL be the mess that it is over having WUPA become the Atlanta version of WWJ. WGCL is a mess, but it's much more preferable over the alternative.

  8. Maybe Amanda should just do news behind bars? Wouldn't be surprised if WGCL drops her too

  9. Well at least she wasn't drunk THIS time. Progress...not perfection. (thunk) I see a sweeps piece for the Feb. Book.... "Riding The Marta...this Anchorwoman's Story"

  10. As far as I know she is, and the piece seems to indicate as such, but I can't imagine that lasting for long now.
