  1. It has only been a month since Marquee Broadcasting acquired WNKY in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and it now appears that they may be looking to start a full news operation for the station. A job opening for a news director at the station has been posted.

  2. If he was, that would be the first time a Sinclair newscast would be watchable. On a serious note, that was a really good article and really shows how they're just money hungry people who will say whatever crap they believe will help make them more money. That said, I'm sure we're going to see another letter from Scott Livingston complaining about how persecuted he feels.

  7. I wouldn't be surprised if K45CX-D becomes KSTU-LD. All they have to do is place it on either a sub channel of KJZZ or KUTV, gut KSTU's news department like a fish, and presto! "Fox Utah"!

  8. This is the one thing I never, ever understood about her. How you can be someone claiming to be a journalist and a Scientologist, I have no idea...

  10. Tulsa's Scripps outlet KJRH has released its morning anchor pair of Taniya Wright and Daniel Winn. It's a shocker when you get fired before the end of sweeps. Now the station is looking for replacements.

  12. I am pretty sure she's a practicing Scientologist. She dresses just like one on TV. I don't know if you've ever been in the area around headquarters, but you will see them all over there, all wearing those very neat, tightly-outfitted black suits with white or blue button-ups underneath. Greta also supposedly has a house in Clearwater, which is where a lot of those upper crust Scientologists have their houses too, indicating that she's probably pretty high up in the church. What is odd though is that she has kept it all very hush hush unlike any other celebrity Scientologists, and her sister is a psychiatrist, aka "a practitioner of death" or something... But with all that said, I can't imagine her leaving the church anytime soon, let alone being anywhere near Leah Remini.

  13. I wouldn't be surprised if a new "The Now" on WEWS gets moved to 7pm, with the old "Now" becoming "News 5 at 4" in order to take on "Fox 8 News at 4" and "Snoozefest 19 at 4*" *Out of respect for the City of Cleveland and due to the fact that WOIO's newscasts are boring as s*it these days, from henceforth I suggest we refer to WOIO's branding as "Snoozefest 19".

  15. I've noticed lately that they haven't been opening the 7am hour with the plaza shot, but with the control room. It's cool to see that, but it is kind of boring. TODAY was the only morning show that would wake you up with the sound of crazed screaming tourists at 7am. It was special. Also, the anchors don't open the 8am hour on the plaza anymore, which is dumb. They were only together outside ONE time today. I think people will notice this and it will turn tourists in NYC away from coming to the plaza because they'll never be on TV. I wish they would dedicate a couple of minutes of talking with the fans on TV. Find some people who would make a good story and put 'em on. That would be neat. The hosts almost never interact with them on the show.

  18. I'm asking myself if I would find her credible presenting the subject somehow. Is that something one just 'dabbles" in? Gotta admit I would watch, but could I give her a fair shake if she was defending or supporting? I don't know either.
