  1. GDNY is NOT going national. I'd bet the farm on that one. Does anyone remember "Good Day Live?" That was the national spin-off of Good Day LA. It was a huge fail. The flashy style of big market morning shows doesn't resonate well with viewers in Nebraska.

  3. I would think if you're leaving the #1 station and what was likely pretty hefty pay check you'd have everything 1000% set in stone first. I'm sure she knows where she's going

  4. That's pretty much the same reason ABC has put up with KDNL this long.

  5. From Tampa/St. Pete, some kinda rare footage from WTSP before longtime anchor John Wilson departed for WTVT. Co-anchor Sheryl Browne also left that year.

  6. The set in the round were in two varieties, WLS (with 2 Tri Vision weather/chromakey/station logo units) and the WXYZ variety (w/ 1 TriVision unit). In addition to WLS, the dual TriVision sets also were at KTVI, and KOB-TV. And along w/ WXYZ, the set in the round w/ single TriVision units included KPIX and WKYC. I am almost willing to bet that the book that noggi posted from the Broadcast Design Association may have both the WXYZ and KPIX sets described above complete with a listing of the materials used to build it... KPIX's version... And WKYC's.... and KOB's Photo's The shot with the logo is the Tri Vision, and the other is the actual set
