OKC might have a little more wiggle room depending on how well KOCO did in any given book and how poorly KOKH may have done. If your idea of successful is fighting for 3rd or 4th place, local TV isn't for you.5 points

I know, but there needs to be at least a 3rd male. Ukee should not be doing 4 newscasts in the evenings. Maybe give the 5 and 10 to someone else like Joe, and even give Jessica a rest too. I’m sure Natasha Brown has wanted a promotion for years, she’s one of the most tenured people at the station right now.1 point

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's just an expanded edition of the CBS Evening News from August of 1973. Which is still good, as likely the only other existing copy is Vandy's B&W recording. I'm sure Rick will find something from The Big News soon, he's rumored to have over 4,000 tapes of old LA TV recordings!1 point

Also noticed this has one of the few NBC clips (especially compared to ABC and CBS) from the 1972 election. Also from Rick Thomas; here's the first KNXT "Big News" newscast I've seen on YouTube (apparent guess from several comments is late July 1973) Hadn't been on this thread in a few weeks, but saw some of the WVEC posts. Definitely goldmines (particularly the post-KHOU/WISH theme/pre-Turn To intro)1 point
