  7. Wow, Mt. St Helen's eruption coverage from 1980. Starts with KGW, then goes to KING, then to KOMO. The Seattle coverage starts at about 14:50. ALSO, the best quality version of KING's electronic theme:

  8. We're barely a week into the year. If there will be new graphics this year, they've got plenty of time. Rumor is they didn't even start the preliminary process of getting new graphics until late fall. So it probably wouldn't happen until summer or fall 2019 at the earliest.

  12. I say Nexstar(or Sinclair) falls apart simply because it got so big that nobody could buy it...and I hope the goverment allows it to fail. No bail outs. Let it crash and burn so real entrepreneurs can try something new that can serve local markets better. The sooner it happens the better. Speculation can be very costly as Sinclair my soon attest to, TV stations groups should never be considered too big to fail. I see this whole Sinclair mess as being the "warning shot" that the FCC has fired across the bow of all the large station groups. I support comprehensive television reform.

  13. I fail to see the improvement. Even with the MG acquisition, Nexstar is getting cheaper and cheesier. The micromanagement from Irving sticks out like a sore thumb on the Nexstar station in my neck of the woods.
