  1. It’s actually CBS Local from Stephen Arnold Music. I remember someone on this thread noticed that they were using the CBS Local election theme during their automated election results video stream last year. I recorded a brief clip from CBSN Bay Area: IMG_5808.MOV

  2. I wish Shep Smith move his show to MSNBC and take over BW's time slot.

  3. I don't think either station has a choice. If he's a registered candidate, and buys the time, and the ads meet all of the requirements, they have to air the spots. Not doing so would get them in hot water especially if a challenger is also advertising their candidacy.

  4. Wow, that's the most Silicon Valley-esque newscast pitch, I've ever watched, ever. Though I do think the KOIN package would have been a better fit.

  7. Didn’t want to make a new thread under News Music. Wasn’t sure if this is part of a new update with graphics soon….. KPIX now decommissioned the CBS Enforcer Metropolis Package in favor for either a 2021 Version 2 Update or a new CBS Enforcer Version 3 theme. (It’s not the version 3 theme that was uploaded on YouTube a while back and deleted) Metropolis is only used for its 4:30-6am opens only. Millenial Beat, Modern Classic, Epic Energy from Version 2 is also decommissioned for its bumpers and closing music The Noon, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 11pm Opens are now rolled out with the new updated Enforcer theme along with new bumpers and closing music. The new theme is more slower and dramatic. However there is one track on its bumpers which I do like because it’s upbeat and catchy.

  8. It's an uphill battle being the last in the market to introduce a 4pm newscast, but here's wishing them the best of luck.

  9. I’m guessing MSNBC would put him where Lawrence or Rachel are, one thing to consider is time slot, 11PM ET/10 PM CT is local news for the networks, putting Shep on before that would help with viewership IMO. Either way he’d be great for MSNBC and give their news coverage some serious credibility. I’m happy to see Chris Jansing anchoring tonight, makes sense why they kept her in NYC and didn’t send her to Kentucky for coverage.

  12. Good luck finding a way to get TV air time locally. I doubt KXII will air his ads when he is on a crusade against them, and hopefully KTEN won't pick up the slack either.

  13. Oh wow Gari is being phased out just listened to the sampler of CBS Local on NMSA. All this time the morning promo music was CBS Local. Interesting.
